Collaborators
My main field of interest is accretion disk theory with special focus on X-ray emission, time variability, and ejection of relativistic jets. Over the years, I have collaborated with various specialists in this field, starting from my PhD Advisor prof. Bożena Czerny (at Copernicus Astronomical Center). My postdoctoral advisor was prof. Daniel Proga, who is a world leading specialist in numerical MHD simulations of accretion flows. During tenure-track contract at N. Copernicus Astronomical Center I collaborated with fellow postdocs and young faculty members: Michal Bejger (NCAC), Magda Kunert-Bajraszewska (N. Copernicus University, Torun), and Lukasz Stawarz (Jagiellonian University, Cracow). More recently, after I have established my own reserach group at CTP PAS, I still collaborate with my former postdocs (Petra Sukova, Kostas Sapountzis). Internationally, we have an exchange visits program with Czech Academy of Sciences.
